Gateway
Installation
The Gateway is managed by the Launcher, so make sure to install the Launcher first.
Gateway connection
If the Launcher is properly installed, the Gateway can be controlled with the Gateway button in the toolbar. Press the button when you want to connect. If it's running, you will be connected immediately. If the gateway is not already started you will be asked if you want to start the gateway service.
If the connection is successful, the button will change status to Gateway connected.
The Launcher automatically updates the Gateway on start-up, so each time you access Simumatik you will be up-to-date!
Driver Manager Status
The Driver Manager Status file provides a detailed snapshot of the current driver configuration and runtime status. This information is useful for monitoring, debugging, and verifying driver operation.

Activate Bridge
The Activate Bridge functionality allows you to distribute Simumatik resources across two computers. This can be helpful in scenarios where you want to separate the heavy computational load of the physics engine and Gateway from the 3D rendering engine.
